TO:              CWA District 6 Local Presidents

FROM:        Claude Cummings, Jr., Vice President, District 6

SUBJECT:    Update - Federal Executive Order

Dear Local Presidents,

I hope this email finds you and your families safe and well. I am writing to you today to provide an update regarding the Federal Executive Order. Please be advised that the National Executive Board had a special called meeting yesterday evening to discuss our plans moving forward.

After a lengthy discussion, a decision was made that we would be requesting effects bargaining regarding the impact this order has on our members. The following is the list of Administrative Staff who will be taking the lead in these negotiations:

ATT Core
Richard Honeycutt, Vice President, CWA District 3
Nick Hawkins, Assistant to the Vice President, CWA District 3

ATT Mobility
Orange Contract - Pat Telesco, Area Director, CWA District 1
Black and Green Contract – Angela Wells, Administrative Director to the Vice President CWA District 3
Purple Contract – Sylvia J. Ramos, Assistant to the Vice President, CWA District 6

Frontier
Ed Mooney, Vice President, CWA District 2-13
Frank Arce, Vice President, CWA District 9

Lumen – CenturyLink
Lisa Bolton, Vice President T&T
Brenda Roberts, Vice President, CWA District 7

Verizon
Ed Mooney, Vice President, CWA District 2-13
Dennis Trainor, Vice President, CWA District 1

As soon as the committees schedule meetings, I am certain they will provide bargaining updates regarding their progress. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please work through your assigned Staff Representative. If an issue needs to be escalated, all questions or concerns regarding AT&T or AT&T Mobility should be directed to Assistant to the Vice President, Sylvia J. Ramos. Any questions regarding independent contracts should be directed to Area Director, Mark Franken.

In closing, I would like to remind the local leadership that this may be a lengthy process but based on the time sensitivity, we will be working on these matters as quickly as possible.

In unity,
Claude Cummings, Jr.
Vice President, CWA District 6
