Bargaining Report #34 Sisters and Brothers, Today was spent assessing where we are and what our next moves will be over the weekend. We plan to meet with the company throughout the Labor Day Weekend. They don't respect LABOR so we will not respect their weekend. The company has had insulting counteroffers to the Union proposals whether the proposals cost them a penny or not. They rather keep control of you than improve your morale or let you enjoy your family. The company rather focus on profits and executives' pay and compensation as a sign of success instead of recognizing your backs as what is keeping the company profitable. There are many proposals that do not cost a penny to the company but they do not want you to have an ounce of pride left in your body. Do not forget why Monday's Holiday is called Labor Day. It was brought to you by the many Union People before us and we need to preserve it by demanding the company show us appreciation in the form of a contract. If we lose at the table, we may lose our Union and then why would they still keep a holiday that has no meaning? Think about it... Be safe this Holiday Weekend that has been brought to you by the UNION... The Bargaining Committee
